Aftermarket Technology Awarded Pilot Program Contract With Mazda

WESTMONT, Ill., June 5 Aftermarket Technology Corp.
, today announced that its logistics business has been awarded a
core management pilot program contract with Mazda North American Operations.

Similar to ATC's recently announced contract with Ford, ATC Logistics will
harvest and consolidate used or excess product ("core") and then ship it to
Mazda authorized remanufacturers.

ATC Logistics will partner with Mazda to ensure accurate and timely
processing of "core" to increase the availability of refurbished products to
the dealers and ultimately to Mazda car owners. The first shipment was
received at the Company's Oklahoma City-based Material Recovery business unit
on April 27, 2001.

Key to winning this business was ATC Logistics' Internet-enabled
interactive system, http://www.Corebloc.com , that allows Mazda to track the
availability, condition and value of core, and to produce dealer credits and
facilitate logistics. Additionally, this tool will enable Mazda, its dealers
and vendors to track product on a real-time basis as well as provide system-
wide inventory management, cross-docking and product redistribution
capabilities.
