SCCA: Autopsy reports heart attack claimed Ridge

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-An autopsy done on Ralph W. Ridge III, of Grosse Ile, Mich., has revealed that the Formula Vee driver died of a heart attack, which in turn caused his incident, May 26, during the SCCA Club Racing double regional at Grattan Raceway.

According to Dr. Paul Dwyer, Chief Medical Officer for the event, Ridge, 54, died from natural causes with no mention of the incident appearing in the autopsy report.
