WirelessCar Introduces Worldwide Telematics Consulting Service

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, June 4 WirelessCar, a leading global
business-to-business provider of integrated telematics services to the vehicle
industry and commercial fleets, today announced the establishment of
WirelessCar Consulting, a global telematics consulting service. As part of
the WirelessCar total offer, WirelessCar Consulting is a new service designed
to provide expert knowledge, advice and specialized training in all aspects of
telematics to help clients meet their telematics business objectives.
The vehicle and fleet industry, carriers, telecommunications network
providers and vehicle-related service providers are struggling to understand
the complex structure of the emerging telematics market. Thus far, no
explicit business model, technology or industry structure has emerged to set a
standard. WirelessCar Consulting addresses these issues to help companies
understand the telematics value chain and how it fits in with their business.
In addition to providing its core services based on the company's Universal
Telematics Network, WirelessCar has recognized an additional need related to
the telematics market. This service offering includes:

-- Strategic advice on business models, branding issues, partnering
        issues and value chain analysis.

-- Business implementation assistance including establishing
relationships with third-party providers, deciding on what services to
deliver, entry strategies, pricing and roll-out plans.

-- Technical implementation assistance ranging from technical advice in
wireless communication integration to developing applications and
        integrating different standard protocols.

-- Specialized training in all aspects of telematics.

"WirelessCar Consulting will complement and support our overall mission to
provide a one-supplier interface to our customers in the area of telematics.
WirelessCar consultants, with in-depth knowledge of the in-vehicle
communication and service sides of the telematics equation, will be valuable
assets to any company that intends to deliver telematics services to
vehicles," says Jan Hellaker, President & CEO of WirelessCar.
WirelessCar Consulting will be directed by Michael L. Sena an
internationally recognized telematics and navigation systems expert.
Mr. Sena has managed large, multi-faceted consulting projects since the
beginning stages of this ground-breaking technology as his involvement spans
almost two decades. His vast experience reaches across all borders from North
America to Europe and Asia-Pacific and includes consulting to content and
service provider networks, on and off-board systems developers, and many
sectors within the automotive industry. He has contributed to the development
of location-based standards at national, European and International levels,
serving as an expert to the ISO committee on ITS applications of digital map
data, and as a chair of the European committee for digital mapping and ITS
applications. His most recent assignment was lead project manager for the
Volvo Cars' implementation of their European service infrastructure for the
Volvo On Call telematics system. Mr. Sena also played a key role in the
preparation of the strategy and specifications for the service infrastructure
of that system.
