PartsWorks.com Adds 3D Viewer, Search Engine and Half Million Parts to its Online SolidWorks Parts Library

BELLINGHAM, Wash.--June 4, 2001--PartsWorks.com has enhanced its online SolidWorks parts library to include two new ease-of-use features and more than 500,000 new native SolidWorks 3D components.
The library is now one of the largest available online, with a total of three million downloadable parts.
PartsWorks.com has also added a keyword search engine for quicker location of components and a browser-based 3D viewer for previewing any one of the millions of 3D parts in real time. The 3D viewer zooms, pans, rotates and gives measurements for a part before downloading. Both features are added to make the PartsWorks.com parts library easier and faster to use.
Parts content has been expanded to include additional stand-offs, fasteners, spacers, and linear motion assemblies from such manufacturers as Globe Engineering and Thomson Industries. The parts library now offers components from four industry standards and forty-six manufacturer catalogs.
Membership subscription is $29.95. To preview the parts library go to http://www.PartsWorks.com.
