Milwaukee X7: The 2001 Miller Lite 225 will mark Herta's seventh Champ Car start at the legendary Milwaukee Mile. Herta's best result at the famed one-mile oval came on his inaugural visit in 1994 when he started seventh and finished 10th. Herta did not compete at the 2000 Miller Lite 225 event.

CART's Youngest American Driver: At 31 years and seven days, Herta is CART's youngest American Champ Car driver. Herta made his Champ Car debut in 1994 at the age of 24 and has since claimed 20 top-five finishes and 45 top-ten finishes. Milwaukee will mark Herta's 106th Champ Car start.

Teaching the Students: Herta will participate in a mock press conference this Friday with local high school journalism students. The students will attend the "Fast Three" press conferences with members of the professional media immediately following the final practice on Friday. The students will then have the opportunity to question Herta in their own press conference, which will be moderated by CART.

Herta on Milwaukee: "The last two races have been very frustrating and we are definitely focused on turning things around. Japan was disappointing, but we felt like we learned a lot in the process. I am really looking forward to Milwaukee; it is a great track. I think we should be in pretty good shape. It will be important to start up front, and with the exception of Japan we have been qualifying very well on the ovals, so hopefully we can come away with some points this weekend."
