New Penn Named Carrier of the Year by GlaxoSmithKline

    LEBANON, Pa.--May 31, 2001--New Penn Motor Express, Inc, a subsidiary of Arnold Industries, Inc. was recently named the 2000 Carrier of the Year by the GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Northeast Regional Distribution Center.
    New Penn outperformed all other less-than-truckload carriers serving the GlaxoSmithKline distribution center to win the award. New Penn provides service from its Camp Hill, PA terminal facility.
    GlaxoSmithKline, a world leader in the pharmaceutical and healthcare products industry, monitors the performance of its carriers on several key service measures, including on-time deliveries, cargo claims, delivery exceptions and the ability to provide timely proof of delivery.
    In presenting the award, GlaxoSmithKline Distribution Center Supervisor, Bob Richards stated, "This is the second year in a row that New Penn has been named our Carrier of the Year. New Penn consistently outperforms its regional and national LTL competitors."
