Siemens Automotive Promotes Juergen Wiesenberger to Director

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 31 Siemens Automotive today
announced the promotion of Juergen Wiesenberger to Gasoline Systems Director.
He now is responsible for overseeing the group's North American engineering
and business development activities.
    Located at the company's North American headquarters in Auburn Hills,
Mich., Wiesenberger will replace Dr. Stefan Krebs who will be returning to
Siemens Automotive's worldwide headquarters in Regensburg, Germany.
    Previously, Wiesenberger was the company's Customer Cluster Manager for
Gasoline Systems, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the engine
management and powertrain control module programs for General Motors Corp., at
the Auburn Hills location.
    Wiesenberger began his career with Siemens Automotive in Germany in 1987
and transferred to Auburn Hills in 1994.
    Wiesenberger earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Technical
School in Landshut, Germany and an Electrical Engineering degree from the
University of Regensburg, Germany.
    Currently, Wiesenberger resides in Orion Township, Mich., with wife Alexa
and their three children Selina, Lisa and Liam.
    In his spare time, Wiesenberger is a pilot working on his commercial
license and enjoys playing tennis.
