USF Distribution Receives Excellence Award From Target Corporation

    BOLINGBROOK, Ill.--May 24, 2001--USF Distribution, a logistics subsidiary of USFreightways Corporation, announced today that it has been awarded the "Vice President's Excellence Award" for 2000 by Target Corporation. This award, presented at Target's recent annual Carrier Conference held in Minneapolis, Minn., recognizes outstanding achievements by a logistics partner in providing innovative supply chain solutions.
