View Systems Demos at National Conference of Car Wash Owners in Dallas, TX

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--May 31, 2001--View Systems Inc. (OTCBB:VYST - news) presented their digital video recording technology to the National Car Wash Owners Association in Dallas, TX.
    The feedback from this presentation is leading to the immediate beta installation of a new license plate recognition system in a Catonsville, MD car wash. "Being able to reconcile our register tallies with the actual car that was washed is very important. It allows us to not only balance actual washes with money, but also to be sure the exact same car is coming back if they request a rewash," says Steve Harris owner of Mr. Wash Car Wash.
    During the conference, Vincent DeCampo, Director of Application Development for View Systems presented different scenarios for using View Systems digital video products for both security as well as liability and insurance applications. "This type of recognition technology is essential for businesses that rely on vehicle frequency for revenue and a way to balance the cash register with traffic flow is needed. Car washes, toll booths and parking facilities are just a few of the instances where this technology is applicable," says Mr. DeCampo.
    During a survey at the show, many of the carwash business owners stated this type of system would enhance their ability to increase their receipts and reduce loss do to shrink and theft.
