BRISTOL, TN -- Four-time series champion Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN,
was the fastest qualifier at 116.411 mile during time trials Wednesday for
the Battle of Bristol presented by Free Service Tire and Advance Auto Parts.
He will start on the pole for the first heat race Thursday, which will
include a 30-lap $10,000 to win United Dirt Track Racing Association (UDTRA)
Pro DirtCars feature. The event will have points-paying races Thursday,
Friday and Saturday, culmuniating with the 60-lap Battle of Bristol that
