Jeff Green On Dover: Jeff Green, 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Champion, current points leader and driver of the No. 10 Nestlé Nesquik Ford Taurus, has still not mastered "The Monster Mile." Green's teammate at ppc Racing, Jason Keller, won this event last year.

"I'd say Dover owes us one after all our bad luck there last year," said Green. "Dover is one of those places where things happen fast and it is very easy to get into trouble. You've got to have a great handling car to win, but most importantly, you have to stay out of the wall. If you can do that, you're pretty much guaranteed a good finish. The place can bite you pretty quickly and make you very humble when you leave there."

Double Dover Debacle: "The Monster Mile" reached out and bit the Nesquik Racing team last year in both events. In the spring event, Green got loose during qualifying and had to take his one and only provisional starting position of 2000. Luckily, Green was able to battle back to a fourth-place finish by the end of the day. During the fall event, Green cut a tire during the final five minutes of happy hour practice, which sent his car hard into turn one. Green was not hurt, but the car was beyond repair. This forced the Nesquik Racing team to pull out a backup car. It was a devastating blow to the team because Green qualified well, starting second. Now he would have to start in the back, just like they did in the spring event. Unfortunately, their bad luck did not end there. On lap 30, while the caution flag waved, he got turned around by a car that was racing back to the caution flag, totaling his car. The team lost two cars in two days.

Double Duty: Green returns to running "double duty" this weekend at Dover. Green will pilot the No. 10 Nesquik Ford in the Busch Series and the No. 30 America Online Chevrolet in the Winston Cup Series. This will be the second of the seven NWC races that Green will attempt to run this year. His first event was at Fontana in April.
