NASCAR WCUP: Jeff Gordon nominated for GQ Award

HARRISBURG, N.C. - Three-time Winston Cup champion and DuPont Motorsports driver Jeff Gordon has been nominated for GQ's Men of the Year awards in the "Sports - Individual Athlete" category.

There are 18 categories that encompass sports, TV, film, music, literature, designers and chefs. Other nominees in the "Sports - Indvidual Athlete" category include tennis champion Andre Agassi, Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong, Supercross champion Ricky Carmichael and PGA professional Phil Mickelson.

Voting takes place at www.gq.com and ends June 15.
