Gardena, Calif. - Infiniti teams, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and Cheever Indy Racing, are both featured in a new video program for Abercrombie & Fitch TV. A&FTV is featured in Abercrombie & Fitch retail stores throughout the country, and can also be seen at www.abercrombie.com.
The A&FTV hosts, who are employees at Abercrombie & Fitch retail stores, spent the weekend with Infiniti drivers Robbie Buhl and Eddie Cheever Jr. and their crews at the Pennzoil Copper World Indy 200 at Phoenix International Raceway in March. The hosts and film crew worked behind the scenes with both teams to get an inside look at the Indy Racing Northern Light Series.
Host Joey Jimenez - "I was totally pumped on the shoot. The Indy scene is completely different than what I expected, and the drivers and crew were so mellow. Hearing the cars start up and shoot across the track was the coolest thing ever."
Host Janelle Homer - "I've never even watched a race event, so when I found out I was coming here I was a little skeptical. Being in the pit and right next to the track was exhilarating-loud numbish noise, cars speeding by and so much excitement and tension. It was amazing. I am now a HUGE race fan."
John Urbano, Abercrombie & Fitch - "We try to cover inspirational, new, or just cool sports when shooting A&FTV. The IRL is a sport that's not only fast paced but something we thought our target audience would be interested in. We had no idea how cool the drivers and all the team members would be. It's inspiring to see that level of teamwork in an organization."
The final product can be viewed through early June at any Abercrombie & Fitch store.
