USAC: Rains interrupt scheduled races at Anderson, Rossburg

IRP HOSTS 250TH USAC RACE ON JUNE 9!

The 250th USAC race at historic Indianapolis Raceway Park is scheduled for Saturday night, June 9, featuring the Stoops Freightliner Sprint Cars, which endured a pair of rainouts this past weekend.

Wednesday night's "USAC 50" at the Anderson, Ind. Speedway was halted after qualifying and Sunday night's race at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio was cancelled due to rain and wet grounds.

Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind., the current series point leader, was the Turbines, Inc. fastest qualifier at Anderson before the rains came.
