Alamo Opens Downtown Edmonton Location

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--May 29, 2001--On June 1, 2001, Alamo, a division of ANC Rental Corporation , will open its first downtown Edmonton location in the center of the city's business and hotel district at 9943 Jasper Avenue.
    Situated next door to the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, the new location is a short walk from the train station, City Hall, the Provincial legislative buildings, theaters, restaurants and shopping centers.
    "The new downtown Edmonton location is the perfect complement to our existing near-airport facility serving Edmonton International Airport," said ANC's President, Canada, Paul Hemmert.     The new location will serve customers seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
