Logica Signs Master Agreement With Ford Motor Company; Logica Preferred Supplier of Information Technology Systems Services
DEARBORN, Mich.--May 29, 2001--Logica today announced that its North American Automotive unit has been appointed as a preferred information technology solution provider to Ford Motor Company ."Logica was selected as a strategic business partner, because we can provide a unique blend of IT services built on a 19-year relationship with Ford and a foundation of 6,000-plus man years of automotive and Ford IT experience," said Jim Williams, Logica North American automotive unit office general manager, senior vice president.
Logica will provide a range of services that spans the full continuum from information technology consulting through application development, integration and business consulting. Also, dedicated practices including mergers and acquisitions, e-Business and SAP will be utilized to further support Logica's IT services to Ford.
