ADVISORY/Amodel PPA Used for New ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

    A new antilock braking system (ABS) wheel speed sensor developed by Hi-Stat Manufacturing is using a grade of Amodel(R) polyphthalamide from BP Amoco Polymers to meet tough performance criteria. The sensor is a cap assembly that mounts on the end of the wheel bearing and provides wheel speed data to the ABS computer.
