3:56 PM – The cars have rolled on to the grid for the 50-lap Round Six race
of the U.S. F2000 National Championship.
3:57 PM – The race is being run on the 0.686-mile Indianapolis Raceway Park
oval one day after the scheduled date due to rain last night.
3:58 PM – No. 2 Gray and No. 55 Rodarte will lead the 21-car field to the
green.
4:00 PM – The cars have formed up behind the pace car.
4:01 PM – Pace car rolls, for first of four warm-up laps.
4:06 PM – GREEN, the field clean through turn one and two.
4:06 PM – Working Lap 2, No. 2 hard into wall in turn one.
4:07 PM – YELLOW, Working Lap 2, No. 14 Bleke also into the wall.
4:07 PM – Working Lap 3, Top-five is No. 55, No. 12, Constantine, No. 87
Potekhen, No. 82 Harrison and No. 5 Luyendyk Jr.
4:08 PM – Working Lap 4, Both drivers out of the car uninjured.
4:15 PM – Working Lap 11, Field given one lap to go signal.
4:17 PM – GREEN, Working Lap 12.
4:17 PM– Working Lap 13, No. 19 Urlin will be black-flagged for jumping the
start.
4:18 PM – Working Lap 15, No. 55 has pulled out ten car gap on No. 12.
4:19 PM – Working Lap 16, No. 69 Asaro now into fourth.
4:20 PM – Working Lap 20 No. 69 moves into third passing No. 82 for
position.
4:21 PM – Working Lap 23, Top-five No. 55, No. 12, No. 69, No. 5, and No.
87.
4:22 PM – Working Lap 25, No. 82 pressuring No. 87 for position.
4:23 PM – Working Lap 27, No. 87 and No. 82 go side-by-side into turn three.
4:24 PM – Working Lap 31, Leaders working through lapped traffic.
4:24 PM – Working Lap 32, No. 44 Dana has passed No. 82 for position.
