US F2000: Race at IRP postponed due to weather

INDIANAPOLIS, IND.–The U.S. F2000 National Championship has announced that Round Six at Indianapolis Raceway Park has been postponed.

The orginal planned race for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2001 was postponed due to continuing rain in the Indianapolis area. Round Six will now be run Sunday, May 27, 2001 at 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. The race will be 75 laps of the 0.686-mile oval.

Peter Gray, of Aberdeen, Scotland, will lead the 21-car field to the green, after capturing his first career pole earlier in the day.
