SERTAPAK GROUP WINS PAC ENVIROWISE AWARD

WOODSTOCK, Ontario (May 24, 2001) -- Sertapak Group Packaging Systems is
pleased to announce they have been selected to receive The EnviroWise Award
from the 2001 Packaging Association of Canada's (PAC) National Packaging
Competition.

"We're very honoured to have been selected by PAC for the EnviroWise Award.
Innovation in returnable packaging has played a large role in Sertapak's
evolution since the mid-1980's when the Automotive Industry in particular
began formalizing their environmental initiatives, " states Alison Clarke,
Marketing Communications Manager. "The Rak Pak(TM) design we've implemented
for our Tier 1 automotive client not only minimizes negative effects on the
environment, it also serves as an integral part of their material handling
and delivery systems - both in-house and at their client's assembly
facility."

Judging for this category of the biennial competition included evaluating a
number of criteria designed to assess environmental impact during the entire
life cycle of the package. Sertapak's winning entry will be on display at
PAC-EX 2001, Canada's national packaging show, held May 15-17, 2001, at the
Toronto International Centre.
