RAUDMAN WINS PIKES PEAK, POLE-VAULTS
 TO SECOND IN POINTS

Rancho Santa Margarita, California (May 22, 2001) -- Craig Raudman, driver
of Dave Reed Racing's #2 Yerf-dog Fun Karts/ITPS/Kingston Chevrolet in the
Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring and NASCAR Winston West Series,
did a lot more than just win a race and another Bud Pole Award in last
Sunday's Sunstate Equipment Company "100" at Pikes Peak International
Raceway in Fountain, Colo.

Raudman's performance Sunday catapulted the veteran Southwest Series driver
into second place in the point standings.

Additionally, Raudman tied the record for consecutive Bud Pole Awards when
he set fast time for the fourth time in a row. Former Southwest Series
champion Lance Hooper set the record for four consecutive Bud Pole Awards
several years ago. Raudman also leads the series' Gatorade Frontrunner race.

Although Raudman has just returned to full-time racing after two seasons of
running limited schedules, he has easily reclaimed his status as one of the
toughest Southwest Series drivers out there, with two wins and four poles
this season to date.

Raudman performed well throughout his limited schedule, including a win in
the 2000 season's Ford L.A. Street Race and in 1999 at Cajon Speedway.

"If we can keep this up, we should be in a great position points-wise after
Mesa Marin," said Raudman.
The postponed April 7th Coors Light 125 at Mesa Marin Raceway in
Bakersfield, Calif. will be run on June 2nd. Raudman was holding the fastest
qualifying time for that event when a rainout was called before the
qualifying runs could be completed.
Raudman continued, "This team has consistently given me a great car for the
past several races, and I owe our great recent performances to them. We're
confident that we will be a top performer once again at Mesa Marin."
