American Isuzu Motors Names Guerriere Regional Vice President

    CERRITOS, Calif., May 23 American Isuzu Motors Inc. (AIMI)
has named Douglas G. Guerriere Vice President, Regional Operations for the
Central Region in Grand Prairie, Texas.  Previously he served as Executive
Manager in the same region.
    Last February, Mr. Guerriere began his twenty-first year with AIMI, and
has achieved success at every level.  Based on retail sales, the Central
Region currently contains the top three Isuzu dealerships, and six of the top
ten.  Also, he is the only executive-level manager to receive AIMI's
President's "Go Farther" award for consistently surpassing corporate core
values including quality, vision and teamwork.
    He has also served as Director, Regional Operations, Central Region;
Corporate National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager, Central Region.
In that position, he led the region to number one in retail sales during the
Texas oil crash of the late 1980s.  Mr. Guerriere attended the University of
North Florida, with his focus on marketing.
