driversshield.com Corp. Fleet Unit Signs
Contract to Provide Claims Management Services to Cable
Constructors, Inc.
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., May 23 driversshield.com Corp. reported today that its fleet services
unit has signed a contract to provide comprehensive claims management services
for the 750 plus vehicle fleet of Cable Constructors, Inc. of Iron Mountain,
Michigan.
Cable Constructors, a national broadband construction firm, which provides
design, mapping, construction and technical services to the rapidly expanding
broadband community, joins some of America's most prestigious corporations as
a client of driversshield.com FS Corp., the wholly owned fleet services
subsidiary of driversshield.com Corp. and the Company's original business.
"Our fleet has grown with our business, and we wanted a first-rate claims
management services provider that could handle all our needs cost-efficiently
and had an excellent track record to prove it," said Bryan Larson, Director of
Administration for Cable Constructors. "We've found that in driversshield.com
FS."
"We will be providing a wide range of services for Cable Constructors,"
said Craig Kadamian, President of driversshield.com FS. "These will include
overall claims management, first notice of accident, collision repairs,
subrogation and salvage." Kadamian noted that serving fleets was
driversshield.com Corp.'s original business, founded in 1983, and that it
continues to grow. The driversshield.com FS subsidiary, which manages claims
for approximately 75,000 fleet vehicles for its customers, saw revenues
increase 37% during the first quarter of 2001, mainly from new business.
Kadamian added that driversshield.com FS was recommended to Cable Constructors
by its business partner, Marsh, USA, the world's largest insurance broker.
Since its founding in 1983, driversshield.com Corp. has built a national
reputation for efficient, cost-saving management of collision claims for
self-insured corporate and municipal vehicle fleets. Clients of its fleet
unit include Time Warner, IBM, Hershey Foods, Cablevision and many other
prominent corporations. Through its affinity auto club programs, which
provide "everything automotive", the Company has established relationships
with Providian Financial, Assurant Group (part of the Fortis group), Aon,
Protective Life, Priceline.com and other prestigious credit card, financial
organizations and web sites. In combination, the fleet services and auto club
serve nearly a million drivers. The Company has also launched an
Internet-based customer relationship and collision repair management service
for auto insurance companies through its driversshield.com CRM unit.
