ArvinMeritor Reorganizes Its Web Site for Faster Customer Communication

TROY, Mich., May 23 The ArvinMeritor, Inc.
today announced it has used the "voice of the customer" to upgrade and
redesign the product and services section of the company's Web site
(http://www.arvinmeritor.com/products). In addition to new content and system
functionality, ArvinMeritor removed several layers of navigation, enabling
customers to locate product and service information faster and more
efficiently.
ArvinMeritor's new Web content showcases more than 20 different product
lines, with a redesign of its electronic Technical Library where customers can
access over 300 service and maintenance publications. Customers can also
access online parts catalogs or communicate directly with the ArvinMeritor
sales and service departments. Product news, a listing of trade events, and
links to other key industry associations allow for a "one-stop shopping"
experience for ArvinMeritor's automotive customers.
"Our diverse group of customers want to quickly find the product and
service information they need, when they need it," said Lin Cummins,
ArvinMeritor's senior vice president of Communications. "In addition to the
overall reorganization, we've added an industry-specific information and news
feature that will create a knowledge repository for our web users, saving them
valuable time."
Cummins added that last year's merger of Arvin Industries and Meritor
Automotive helped to speed development of the new Web section, as each company
brought key elements to the process. "Before the merger, both companies
wanted a user-friendly site that best serviced customers' product information
needs. The completed Web section redesign merged the best ideas from both
companies," Cummins said.

ArvinMeritor, Inc. is a premier $7-billion global supplier of a broad
