Hydro Environmental Resources Inc. Nears
Completion Of Its Hydrogen Powered Experimental
Vehicle
LAS VEGAS, May 22 Today Hydro Environmental Resources,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HYER) has successfully operated its experimental
vehicle referenced in a press release 5/8/01. This vehicle operates using a
modified ElectroChem Hydrogen Fuel Reactor system.
The system will add only a few pounds to the overall weight of the
vehicle, which is more than offset by the reduction in weight effected by the
removal of the fuel and the fuel tank, which are no longer required. The
ECHFR system will not need to store fuel, as it produces hydrogen, on demand.
Successful tests have been held on city streets, as well as highway
conditions. The purpose of the tests was to establish the viability of the
second stage of modification. Test results are expected to be released to the
public shortly.
To finalize testing on the vehicle, an ECHFR system will be mounted
permanently in the vehicle.
While these tests are carried out, it is not intended that the automotive
industry be the main point of focus for the direction of the corporation in
the medium term.
