ADVISORY/Victims' Reaction to Ford's Expanded Recall Announcement -- Co-Lead Counsel in National Litigation to Hold Press Conference Today in Miami

WHO:       Mike Eidson, co-lead counsel for the plaintiffs' personal
           injury and wrongful death cases in the Firestone/Ford 
           Federal Multi-District litigation now pending before United
           States District Court Judge Sarah Barker in Indianapolis.

WHAT:      Eidson, a nationally recognized trial lawyer and consumer 
           advocate for over 25 years who litigated cases against Ford
           involving the Ford Pinto's gas tank explosions (leading to 
           the recall of the Pinto) and against Firestone for the 
           defective Firestone 500 tires in the seventies (which were
           also recalled), will respond to today's statements by Ford 
           CEO Jacques Nasser to expand the Firestone tire recall and 
           Firestone CEO John Lampe's statements yesterday ending 
           Firestone's 96 year tire supplier relationship with Ford.  
           Eidson to explain Ford's announcement and notify the public
           of safety concerns involving the expanded recall.
