AAMCO Transmissions Approves CustomerLink Systems for AAMCO Dealers

ROSEVILLE, Calif.--May 22, 2001--Today, CustomerLink Systems, Inc., a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Services for the automotive service and repair industry, was approved by AAMCO Transmissions Inc. to provide CRM programs to the more than 700 AAMCO Centers across the United States and Canada.
The relationship allows AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. to bring the CustomerLink service to its dealers and leverage their economies of scale. AAMCO Centers that implement CustomerLink programs will be establishing relationships that allow them to capture all of a customer's transmission-related maintenance and service needs.
AAMCO has been the world's largest transmission specialist for nearly 40 years and represents trust, quality, and value in the eyes of motorists today. AAMCO recognizes the importance of building strong relationships with customers. "Communicating with customers, particularly thanking them again for choosing AAMCO and reminding them of the periodic need for transmission maintenance and check-ups, is imperative in maintaining our high quality of customer service," states Bruce Schmidt, Vice President of Marketing for AAMCO. Schmidt continues, "AAMCO Centers have informally practiced customer relationship management for years, so we wanted to simplify the process and provide centers with a high quality national program. We are confident CustomerLink will provide AAMCO dealers with just that -- an easy to implement, high-quality CRM program."
"We are thrilled with AAMCO's approval of our programs for their centers. This is truly a synergistic relationship," states Anthony Romano Executive Vice President of CustomerLink Systems. Romano continues, "The relationship with this market leader is an important component in our market penetration strategy and we are confident our offerings will deliver significant benefits for AAMCO Service Centers. Additionally, this approval further validates CustomerLink's ability to bring Customer Relationship Management programs to all types of automotive service and repair shops."
CustomerLink's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and proprietary database marketing platform, allows service providers to proactively communicate with their customers at programmed intervals with reminders for routine maintenance as well as provides them with an opportunity to send surveys, thank you letters, and information regarding specials and promotions. This communication significantly increases the probability that consumers will return to a specific service provider several times a year for recommended service and maintenance and assists automotive service providers in creating customer loyalty.
