The Auto Club Group Announces Realignment

    DEARBORN, Mich., May 21 Charles H. Podowski, president and
chief executive officer of The Auto Club Group, based in Dearborn, Mich.,
today announced an executive realignment at two of AGC's member clubs, AAA
Nebraska and AAA Chicago Motor Club.  AAA Michigan and AAA Wisconsin are also
affiliated with The Auto Club Group holding company representing more than
3.35 million members.

    *  Steve JN. Bernth, president and chief operating officer at AAA Nebraska
becomes president and chief operating officer, AAA Chicago Motor Club,
reporting to Podowski.
    *  Mark E. Grieb, chief financial officer at AAA Nebraska, becomes that
club's president and chief operating officer, also reporting to Podowski.
    *  Richard L. Bensen, who was president and chief executive officer of AAA
Chicago Motor Club is promoted to vice chairman, AAA Chicago Motor Club board
of directors.  He will work with Podowski on ACG geographic expansion and will
direct an executive management transition at the Chicago club.  Dr. Wilfrid M.
Smith continues to chair the board and will lead the Nominating & Board
Affairs committee's efforts to restructure the AAA Chicago Motor Club board
and attract additional dynamic board members.
