Drive Safer America! Skid Pad Challenge to Demonstrate

NIAGARA FALLS, New York, May 21 Niagara region high school
students will experience the difference between four wheel anti-lock brakes
(ABS) and conventional braking at the fifth annual Niagara Regional Traffic
Safety Fair, held in cooperation with the Drive Safer America! Skid Pad
Challenge. Continental Teves, sponsor of Drive Safer America! and the brake
and chassis unit of Continental AG, manufactures ABS and other advanced
electronic vehicle safety systems.

With Memorial Day holiday traffic and the running of the Indianapolis 500
only a week away, safe driving issues are the prominent focus in the
educational experiences provided for more than 3,000 regional high school
students who will attend the Safety Fair. The Continental Teves skid pad will
emphasize safe vehicle handling, especially the importance of knowing how to
use anti-lock brakes correctly as an accident avoidance tool.
