Ford Motor Company Implementing Polycom's Video Communications Systems
To Improve Company-Wide Collaboration
MILPITAS, Calif., May 21 Polycom(R), Inc., a worldwide
leader in broadband communication solutions, today announced that Ford Motor
Company, the world's second-largest car and truck manufacturer, has selected
Polycom's award-winning ViewStation(TM) group videoconferencing systems for
its worldwide video communications needs.
Ford uses video communications to allow its design teams dispersed around
the world to enhance collaboration through face-to-face meetings. Ford is
looking to increase the effectiveness and improve its use of video
communications and will purchase Polycom's ViewStation, the world's best-
selling group videoconferencing system, to help achieve these aims. Ford
