Johnny Benson
JOHNNY BENSON, NO. 10 VALVOLINE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

(HOW WAS YOUR NIGHT OVERALL?) "All of it was good. We were just a little off at the end.

"I think we learned a lot. That is the first one (The Winston) we've been in. We tried something at the end and it just didn't work out for us."

(WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST THING YOU LEARNED FOR NEXT WEEK'S RACE?) "Bring a better race car. That's all we need to do. This was a good race car, but it's probably not the best race car or a great race car for here. We've just got to work and see what happens next week."

(HOW MUCH DID THE TRACK CHANGE TONIGHT?) "I think the track changed, but I think it changed because of the rain. With the Hoosier rubber on there from the ARCA race, I really don't think it got all the way off. It was different, but it was actually better for us in The Winston than it was in The Open."

(ON WINNING TWO TROPHIES HERE IN TWO DAYS) "Well, we got one of those given to us. But, we'll take it, learn by it and go on."
