Visteon Corporation Names Derek Fiebig Director of Investor Relations

    DEARBORN, Mich., May 18 Visteon Corporation
today named Derek Fiebig as Director of Investor Relations.
    
Fiebig will be responsible for communicating with the financial community,
shareholders and investors.  He also will help facilitate communication
between Wall Street and Visteon's strategy council members.
    "We are very pleased to have Derek join our staff.  With his extensive
background in both finance and treasury, Derek's experience will serve him
well as Visteon's Director of Investor Relations," said Susan Skerker, Senior
Vice President of Business Strategy and Corporate Relations for Visteon.
"Communicating our vision and strategy for the business to shareholders and
the investor community is critical to our future success."
    Prior to his new role, Fiebig served as Director of Investor Relations for
Lear Corporation.  Before that, Fiebig was Senior Treasury Analyst for
DaimlerChrysler in Mexico where he was charged with establishing operating
guidelines and procedures, monitoring exposure of funds and enhancing internal
reports.
    Fiebig began his career as a Marketing Manager and Production Scheduler
for Alpha Metal Finishing in Dexter, Michigan, in 1991.  In 1995, he joined
DaimlerChrysler as a Finance Intern at the automaker's New Castle, Indiana,
manufacturing facility.
    He then went on to become a Financial Analyst for DaimlerChrysler's
Kokomo, Indiana, plant in 1996, where he was charged with tracking and
forecasting all non-capital expenditures for the facility.  Fiebig was soon
promoted to Senior Financial Analyst, Investor Relations, for the company in
1997 and was re-located to DaimlerChrysler's headquarters in Auburn Hills,
Michigan.  In 1999, he became Senior Treasury Analyst for DaimlerChrysler
Mexico Holding.
    Fiebig holds a bachelor's degree in international economics, with a minor
in Spanish from the University of Michigan; and a master's degree in business
administration with a concentration in finance and international business,
from Indiana University.
