U.S. F2000 Watkins Glen Practice Notes

Watkins Glen Practice Notes

- No. 6 Tonis Kasemets has joined Pabst Racing Services for the remainder of
the season and has added Technical Mechabical and Tac.com as sponsors.

- No. 59 Matt Green and No. 89 Jason LaPoint have added Infinity Motorsports
as a sponsor.

- DSTP U.S. F2000, No. 21 Daniel Muniz and No. 32 Bryan Sellers, have
switched to 2001 Van Diemens. The team contested 2001 Mygales at Homestead
for Round One.

- No. 18 Alexander Figge went off course in the toe of the boot during
session, but suffered no damage.

- No. 69 Billy Asaro crashed entering the loop early in the session after
having contact with No. 12 Tommy Constantine. No. 69 had a damaged nose,
rear end plates and bent front suspension.

- No. 3 Doug Bell had an engine failure early in the session, but is
expected to have a new engine in for qualifying.

- Numerous drivers have reported they battled a severe understeer problem
during the practice session.
