Brent Appointed Director of Operations at Accuride's London Facility; Fisher and Mayne Appointed Operations Managers; Matsui Appointed EHS Manager
EVANSVILLE, Ind. & LONDON, Ontario--May 17, 2001--Today, Accuride Corporation announced a series of personnel moves at its London, Ontario, Canada Facility.Effective immediately, Alastair (Al) Brent will assume the responsibilities of Director of Operations for the London Plant, Joel Mayne will serve as the Facility's Heavy Vehicle Operations Manager, while Jerry Fisher will serve as the Facility's Light Vehicle Operations Manager. Accuride also announced the appointment of Karen Matsui as Environmental Health and Safety Manager.
Brent, who most recently served as Accuride's Director of Special Projects, has been employed by Accuride since 1983. During this time, Brent has served in a multitude of roles including management positions in engineering, accounting, continuous improvement, and strategic planning. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Western Ontario and is both a Professional Engineer and a Certified Management Accountant.

To support Brent, Accuride appointed Jerry Fisher to LVO Operations Manager, Joel Mayne to HVO Operations Manager, and Karen Matsui as EHS Manager. Fisher and Mayne will oversee the day-to-day operations and process improvements in their respective areas, while Matsui will lead the Facility's Environment, Health & Safety programs.
Fisher joined Accuride's London Operations in 1999 as Logistics Manager. Prior to his employment with Accuride he held management positions at Lear Corporation and KS Centoco. Fisher earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and Statistics from the University of Windsor.
Mayne, who most recently served as Accuride London's Environment, Health, and Safety Manager, joined the London staff in 1984. During his career with Accuride, Mayne has performed the duties of Shop Floor Operator, Supervisor, Paint Line Coordinator, and Safety Coordinator. Mayne has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario.
In 1995, Matsui joined Accuride as an Environmental Engineer. Prior to joining Accuride, Matsui held positions in engineering, health, and safety. Matsui, a Professional Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's University and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Toronto.
