Collins &Aikman Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Becker Group, LLC

    TROY, Mich.--May 16, 2001--Collins & Aikman announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement for its previously announced acquisition of Becker Group, LLC. The terms are as announced on March 21.
