"As an integral part of Livonia for more than 30 years, we are extremely
pleased to be able to give something more back to the local community in such

McLaren Performance Technologies.
Livonia Public Schools' Career Intern Program is a career exploration
experience for highly motivated and high achieving college-bound seniors. It
not only provides Livonia students with a broad vantage point to gain an
important overview of their chosen career paths, but enables them to
experience the professional and decision making discipline for which their
talents and skill sets are naturally suited. In addition, such real-world
experience allows Livonia's best and brightest to expand their awareness of
their own goals, abilities and interests relative to their future careers.
"There's no doubt that there are a number of extremely motivated, college
bound Livonia seniors who would not only benefit, but truly enjoy stepping
into such a high-octane technical environment as McLaren Performance
Technologies. Having an enterprise with such recognized automotive,
motorsports and engineering credentials as McLaren as part of the Livonia
Career Intern Program demonstrates the ongoing success that the activity has
achieved as an integral part of the Public School's curriculum," according to
Mary A. Couillard, career intern coordinator, Livonia Public Schools.
