Barrett-Jackson Auction Company Consigns Tony Soprano's Car From Season One of HBO's 'The Sopranos'

        Petersen Automotive Museum Auction To Feature Celebrity Owned
                           And Television Show Cars

    SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 16 'Star Cars' and 'Cars of the
Stars' and will be a feature at the Petersen Automotive Museum Auction in Los
Angeles, June 15th & 16th, 2001.
    Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, who will be conducting the auction at the
legendary automotive museum, has just consigned the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban
used by the leading character Tony Soprano, during Season One of the hit HBO
television show "The Sopranos".  The maroon and gray Suburban was supplied by
Movie Time Cars to Sopranos Productions Inc.
    Also consigned to the June auction is one of the original 'General Lee'
cars from the hit TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard."  The Dodge Charger, with its
trademark bright orange color scheme and the 440 cu. in. engine, is one of the
few cars actually used during the making of the television show.  At the end
of filming of the TV show series there were only 17 original General Lees
remaining and Warner Bros. authenticated all these, each car being given a
Certificate of Authenticity of its participation in the TV Show.
    Other celebrity owned cars that will be in the Petersen Museum Auction
include; a 1984 Jaguar owned since new by the star of the TV series Wonder
Woman, Lynda Carter; and a very rare 1949 Delahaye Cabriolet, formerly owned
by British pop star Elton John.
    The Jaguar XJ6 Sedan, consigned by Lynda Carter, was purchased new
1984 and will be offered for sale at No Reserve.  The 1949 Delahaye Type
175 Cabriolet, with coachwork by the French company Figoni et Falschi, was
formerly owned by Elton John.
    The world-famous KISS Prowler and KISS 'Music Box' Trailer, a custom built
vehicle created to promote the world famous rock band's Psycho Circus tour.
Fitted with a high-output 3.5 litre V-6 engine and finished in Black Crystal,
the Prowler body was fabricated with front and side ground effects, custom
grille with chrome inserts, molded hood louvers, rear spoiler and interior
accessories.  The matching KISS Music Box Customized Trailer has a wireless
remote controlled opening device to reveal three custom compartments for
Simmons, Frehley and Stanley's guitars.  Musical instrument components
installed include; a 12 channel mixing console, stereo power amp, cordless
microphone and receiver unit, multi effects unit, Boss drum machine and a
Marshall guitar rack mount amplifier.

    The Petersen Museum Auction, produced by Barrett-Jackson Auction Company
(http://www.barrett-jackson.com), will be held on Friday, June 15th from 5 PM to 9 PM
and Saturday, June 16th from 12 Noon to 9 PM.  Preview will begin at 10 AM
each day.  There will be over 150 cars offered at the auction, which will also
include cars at No Reserve from the collection of the Petersen Museum
(http://www.petersen.org) and the Robert E. Petersen Collection.  Admission charge
for the Petersen Museum and Auction will be $10.00 each day.  The Petersen
Automotive Museum is located 6060 Wilshire Blvd. (at Fairfax Ave), Los
Angeles.
