Law Keeps Busy at The Glen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Phoenix, Arizona (May 15, 2001) - Grand America Rolex Sports Car Series GT class points leader, Darren Law will give a local Boy Scout troop an up-close look at racing. Law, along with four other Grand Am drivers, will be giving the group a tour of the Rolex garage area on Friday May 18.

Law will be available for interviews on Wednesday May 16, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Law will be participating in the "3 Hours of Go-Karting" race at KG Motorslicks in Horseheads beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Law will be participating in an autograph signing on Saturday, May 19, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. at the track. The points leader will be available for interviews throughout the race week. In addition, Law will be participating in an autograph signing and other activities on Monday, May 21, with the women from the LPGA as a precursor for the upcoming LPGA Corning Classic at the Corning Country Club.

Grand Am Cup Update

Due to a misfortunate incident during the Phoenix Grand Am Cup race, the #16 Mical Motorsports Porsche Twin Turbo will not be running at The Glen. However, Law still has a very comfortable ride for the Cup race. Law's co-driver for the race is someone who probably knows Law's racing style the best, G&W Motorsports team owner Cole Scrogham. The G&W duo will combine their efforts and strategies, not over the radio as driver and crew chief, but together as co-drivers behind the wheel of the #01 Jennifer Fund G&W Motorsports Porsche 993.

"I am looking forward to having Cole behind the wheel," Law said. "Now it's my turn to give him a hard time over the radio while he's driving."

Catch Law in his #81 Motorola Commscope G&W Motorsports Porsche GT3-R during the Six Hours at the Glen and the #01 Jennifer Fund G&W Porsche 993 during the Grand Am Cup race on Sunday, May 20, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
