Hofman Joins JAC Products as President & CEO

    SALINE, Mich., May 15 JAC Products, the world leader in
automotive roof rack systems, has named George Hofman President and Chief
Executive Officer.  Hofman succeeds Richard Puricelli, who continues to serve
as company Chairman.

    In his new position, Hofman is responsible for strategic and operational
activities for all domestic and international JAC Products facilities.
    "George's broad automotive background and solid international experience

and profitability of JAC."
    Hofman has more than 25 years of automotive-related experience, serving
most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer of Teleflex Automotive
Group in Troy, Michigan.
