Advanced Exhaust Technologies Bolsters Sales Force
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 14 Advanced Exhaust Technologies
LLC (AET), maker of the fuel-saving Liberator muffler, announced today that it
is expanding its sales organization to give it complete coverage of the United
States and Canada.
"Now that the Liberator has established itself in the marketplace, we are
adding significantly to our sales force to respond to increased market
awareness of our revolutionary new fuel-saving muffler," said Richard D.
Bergesen, President and Chief Executive Officer of AET.
Joining AET as a Managing Member and sales advisor is William Kehoe, a
veteran sales manufacturing representative to the heavy truck industry from
Birmingham, Mich.
Also joining AET as Director of Sales and one of five regional Sales
Managers is Rick Neill, a California-based, 30-year sales veteran in the heavy
truck industry. Neill assumes responsibility for Western states and Western
Canada.
By the end of May, Bergesen said, AET expects to add 15 sales
organizations that will provide coast-to-coast coverage of the United States
and Canada.
"Our initial sales efforts were focused on the Midwest," Bergesen said.
"Now that the market is accepting test results that show mileage improvements
of 0.3 to 1.2 miles per gallon, we are bolstering our sales organization to
deliver our compelling fuel-economy message to heavy truck dealerships,
distributors and fleets throughout North America."
In test drives on various Class 8 truck configurations, under a wide
variety of load levels and weather conditions, the patented new Liberator(TM)
muffler has delivered substantial fuel economy gains for heavy trucks that
currently average between 5 mpg and 7 mpg.
Under development for 10 years and field tested since January 1997, the
Liberator dramatically reduces back pressure, enhancing engine performance,
increasing turbo boost, improving response and reducing the need for drivers
to downshift.
