Frank Kimmel takes Kentucky pole SPARTA KY, 5-11-01 - ARCA RE/MAX Series point leader Frank Kimmel, in Larry Clement's Advance Auto Parts-Pork White Meat Ford, won the Old Milwaukee Pole Award here Friday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway with a speed of 169.843 mph. It was his fourth pole of the year in only six events. Tim Steele, also in a Ford, qualified for the outside pole at 168.613 ahead of Mike Swaim Jr, in a Chevy, at 167.556. Next was the Pontiac of Jason Jarrett at 167.509 and the Ford of Andy Belmont at 167.266 to complete the top-five.
