PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Looking for fun on your motorcycle with the scenic

Mississippi River as a backdrop? Look no further than the AMA District 18 Rally

in St. Louis, Missouri, set for May 18-20. You can even help out the Motorcycle

Hall of Fame Museum by attending the event, hosted by the Gateway Harley Owners

Group and Widman Motorcycle Sales.

The AMA sanctioned event is part of the Dunlop Elite Touring Series, and

all bikes and riders are welcome. Events will include a bike show, rodeo, poker

run, street dance, dinner ride, auction and numerous vendors selling all sorts

of parts and motorcycle goodies. All proceeds from these events, including a

raffle, will go towards keeping our motorcycling heritage alive at the

Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.

The groups contributions to the museum come as part of the American

Motorcycle Heritage Foundation's Heritage Club program, which was implemented

last year as a way to thank the clubs and organizations that have given to the

museum. The Gateway HOG Chapter , based at Widman Motorcycle Sales, was one of

the founding members of the Heritage Club and will receive a "Champions of the

Motorcycling Heritage" award for their overall contribution of $2,500 during

last year.

The Indy BMW Club, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, will also receive a

"Champions of the Motorcycling Heritage" award for the largest overall

contribution based on active members.
