Mical Motorsports #16 Porsche to Sit Out at The Glen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Phoenix, Arizona (May 10, 2001) - Grand Am Cup Series driver, Darren Law will not be behind the wheel of the #16 Mical Motorsports Porsche TT next week at The Glen's Cup race. In fact, there is no wheel to be behind. Law's teammate, Al Wortzman, got tangled up during the Phoenix race, causing the Porsche to hit the wall. The car was so badly wrecked during the incident, it can't be repaired by The Glen. The #16 will be ready for the following Grand Am Cup race in Mid-Ohio on Sunday, June 10. There is no word yet on if Law will be seen in another Cup car for The Glen Cup race.

Law will continue to add to his Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series points lead in the #81 Motorola Commscope G&W Motorsports Porsche GT3-R on Saturday, May 19, during The 6 Hours of The Glen race.
