Fairchild Semiconductor Earns Award From International Component Users
DALLAS--May 10, 2001--Fairchild Semiconductor International today announced it has been awarded the prestigious Silver Medal for 2000 by STACK International, one of the world's largest components users groups. Darrell Mayeux, Fairchild's executive vice president of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, accepted the award at the semi-annual meeting of the STACK directors, held here."Our members work closely together to enhance industry-wide quality and service while reducing costs and risk of ownership," said STACK Chairman Gianni Bertolini. "We've set very high standards and this annual award is our way of recognizing the suppliers that have reached levels of excellence in performance."
