First China Site License Letter of Intent

SANTEE, Calif., May 10 World Transport Authority, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: WTAI; Frankfurt: 920943). World Transport Authority,
Inc. (WTA) announced that on May 6, 2001 a delegation of Chinese businessmen
signed a formal Letter of Intent (LOI). Under the terms of the LOI, this
group will become the first WTA authorized WorldStar Manufacturing company
located in Mainland China. The Chinese representatives spent three days
performing vehicle tests and factory inspections at the WorldStar facility.
The event represents the first prospective site license sold by the Chinese
Master License Holder and solidifies its firm commitment to move forward to
manufacture and distribute WorldStar vehicles throughout the People's Republic
of China.
The signing ceremony was held in the corporate office of CBN WorldStar,
Inc., which is the authorized WTA representative for Southeast Asia and the
Pacific Rim. Mr. J.E. Banning as President of the company represented CBN.
Mr. Lyle Wardrop, President & Chairman of WTA and Mr. Douglas Norman, Founder
were also present for the historic occasion.
The Wuhu Anhui Tong Bao Car Factory Company of Wuhu, China (located just
inland from Shanghai) arrived in the Philippines accompanied by China's
WorldStar Master Licensee representative, Ms. Lu Min. Mr. Wang Dao Wen,
Factory Director and Mr. Fang De Min, Vice Factory Director and Chief Engineer
spent three rigorous days inspecting the Philippine factory's operation. This
provided confirmation that the technical knowledge and capacity to produce
vehicles exists for the projected introduction of the WorldStar utility
vehicle in China.
The Chinese group, which already manufactures conventional vehicles at a
rate of 15 per day, was impressed with the new technology being offered by
WTA. Mr. Wang Dao Wen, said, "I believe this is what China needs today and
with our already extensive knowledge of vehicle production, we will have no
problem quickly adjusting to the production methods proposed by WTA."
WTA recently announced its move to new office space in Santee, California.
