Timken Forms Joint Venture with Axicon Technologies Inc.

    CANTON, Ohio, May 10 The Timken Company has
entered into a formal agreement with Axicon Technologies Inc. to pursue
advanced gearing solutions for automotive and industrial applications that
address unmet customer needs.  The alliance combines resources of both
companies to pursue opportunities to provide engineering services, license
intellectual property and supply high-performing gearing products that offer
customers numerous advantages including reduced noise levels and improved
sound quality.
