McLaren and Catalytic Solutions Form Strategic Testing Alliance

             California Catalyst Company Now Has Detroit Presence

    LIVONIA, Mich. and OXNARD, Calif., May 9 McLaren
Performance Technologies and Catalytic Solutions, Inc.
announced today that they have entered into a non-exclusive, strategic
alliance for testing and support of catalytic converter products.
    
    Catalytic Solutions will house its Detroit-area Customer applications
Engineering activity within McLaren Performance Technologies' headquarters,
and will utilize the capabilities of the Livonia-based engineering services
provider for dynamometer aging and development testing requirements.
