Productivity Technologies to Introduce New
'Flip-Seal' Pallet Cover
ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 7 Productivity Technologies
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PRAC), announced today that its operating
subsidiary Atlas Technologies, Inc. is introducing its newest product, the
Atlas Flip-Seal Pallet Cover, at the MAX International show running this week
in Cleveland, Ohio USA, (a combination of the PMA Metalform Show and the AWS
Welding Show).
According to James A. Kolinski, Atlas CEO, "As part of its efforts to
provide customers with solutions which improve the productivity of their sheet
metal stamping and fabricating processes, Atlas has successfully supplied
thousands of its Precision Pin Pallets over recent years. These pallets are
used to store and transport stacks of sheet metal using reusable pins instead
of disposable steel strapping, thereby reducing their dependence upon
landfills for disposal of the bulky banding material, and lowering the risk of
injury to personnel from the banding material. The new Atlas Flip-Seal Pallet
Cover is a potentially important accessory that can be used with many types of
pallets, including Atlas' Precision Pin Pallets. The reusable patent pending
Flip-Seal Cover helps protect the stacks of sheet metal from airborne
contaminants such as dust and dirt during storage or transportation. Since
enclosing the stacks can help replace disposable paper/plastic wraps, it helps
reduce related landfill requirements and costs."
Headquartered in Fenton, Michigan, Atlas is an ISO 9001 registered
producer of automated stamping press systems, equipment, tooling and related
material handling equipment used by the world's automotive, appliance, and
other manufacturers, including steel and other metal producers. Productivity
Technologies Corporation is an Ann Arbor, Michigan based investment holding
company involved in the factory automation and equipment industry. Its
operating subsidiaries are Atlas Technologies and Westland Control Systems, a
controls panel supplier to machinery manufacturers.
