Vinod M. Khilnani Named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, CTS Corporation

    ELKHART, Ind.--May 7, 2001--CTS Corporation today announced the appointment of Vinod M. Khilnani to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
    Mr. Khilnani has most recently been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Simpson Industries, Inc. since 1997 and was appointed Vice President and Corporate Controller of Metaldyne Corporation, a $2.5 billion automotive components company created through the merger of Simpson Industries and MascoTech in December 2000.

    Mr. Khilnani began his career with Cummins Engine Company in 1978 as Corporate Financial Analyst and steadily progressed through assignments of increasing responsibilities including Plant Controller; Director of Finance and Logistics for Europe (based in France and Belgium); Vice President Finance & MIS, Holset Engineering -- a Cummins Company -- based in England; Chief Financial Officer -- Cummins Power Generation Group, and ultimately Executive Director responsible for all worldwide Treasury and Merger/Acquisition activities of Cummins Engines, a $6.0 billion manufacturer of engines and components.
    He received an MS in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA in Finance from the State University of New York. He is both a CPA and a CMA.
    Mr. and Mrs. Khilnani will be relocating to the Michiana area with their daughter.
