Herta on Qualifying:

"The track was a little better when I went out in qualifying then it was this morning. The car feels good, I think we should be fine tomorrow. Last weekend we qualified fourth, and today we are seventh so I am pleased. The guys are doing a great job, and Lee (Dykstra, Race Engineer) has given me a good car. It's always good to be starting toward the front. I think it's going to be challenging to pass during the race, there's not a lot of room to get a run on people with the kink, so we'll see. I am looking forward to tomorrow; we have had a good couple of weeks, now I just hope to finish it off with a solid race result. "

Tony Brunetti, General Manager:

"Bryan did a great job today qualifying the Indeck/Reynard just one tenth out of third. I am very pleased to see Lee Dykstra (Race Engineer) has proven he hasn't lost his touch since putting Patrick Carpentier on the pole here in 1998. I am looking forward to a good race tomorrow, and I hope we are in the hunt for a visit to the podium after our last stop."
